Run for Childhood Cancer Research

Registrations are now open for the 2020 HBF Run for a Reason! This year, Western Australia’s most well-loved community event will take place on Sunday, May 24.

You can help us raise important funds for childhood cancer research by choosing the Foundation as your reason to participate in either the Commonwealth Bank 4k, the Kleenheat 12k or the Brooks Half Marathon.

As the Foundation does not receive State or Federal funding, we rely on the generous support of the community at these wonderful events to help us ensure the ground-breaking research into childhood cancer can continue so that future generations can live cancer free.

The event is not only a great way to support an important cause, but it will also allow you to get active and have a good time with your family and friends. Not a runner? Don’t sweat it! You are free to run, walk, jog or roll your way to the finish line!

The Commonwealth Bank 4km course is the perfect non-competitive course for those looking to have a fun day out with their family and friends. The 4km course takes you on a scenic tour of Perth as you make your way along the Swan River. It’s also loaded with fun surprises and entertainment!

The Kleenheat 12km course is a great choice for those who are looking for more of a running challenge or need a longer walk to chat to their friends. If you are a seasoned runner or attempting your longest run yet, the Brooks Half Marathon promises to get those legs pumping with a flat, fast course.
