In 2003, every school in WA was asked to Remember Sinead by wearing something yellow to school in her memory. Sinead was a brave and gifted girl who was so funny and smart, but she also had leukaemia. Sinead fought hard but she lost her battle in 2003.Sinead was only 12 years old.
In WA there are some doctors and researchers who are working hard to find a way to cure children’s cancer and leukaemia. All the gold coin donations will be going to help them do this at The Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation in Perth .
We need to show all the kids in Western Australia who have cancer how much we care about them and how much we want to see a cure by giving generously. The children and young people of Western Australia can make a difference.
