On Wednesday 8 April, Jenny Seaton from Curtin FM 100.1 interviewed Trudy Dunn about the Rhythms of Life Benefit Concert for the Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation which is happening on Sunday 19 April at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco.
Trudy was able to share the journey of how the show came about and why all of the performers are excited to be doing this one time only performance for CLCRF.

Perth students helped kick start a global charity drive this week by playing video games. Presbyterian Ladies’ College was the first Australian school to allow students to download and play a free video game, the Adventures of Ai, on Thursday, to take part in the World Charity Cup global video game competition.
The competition will raise money for charities around the world including the Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation and Sony Foundation in Australia.
The Adventures of Ai is an e-book for pre-teens by New York Times best-selling author Craig Bouchard with an accompanying video game. Children’s high scores will be recorded on the story’s website to add to their country’s total.
A big thank you to Presbyterian Ladies’ College, who were the the first school in Australia to launch the World Charity Cup global video game competition in support of local charities.
At PLC Middle School Assembly on Tuesday 25 November, students were introduced to the free video game, The Adventures of Ai, and allowed to download it to take part in the World Charity Cup. They were then allowed to use personal mobile devices at School during lunchtime on Thursday 27 November and to play the game to kickstart the campaign and win some great prizes!
The Adventures of Ai is an e-book written by international entrepreneur and New York Times best-selling author Craig Bouchard. The story was written for his 4 daughters and is part non-fiction and part fiction fantasy designed to prepare pre-teens for the pressures they will encounter as they grow up. Incorporating art, history, poetry, music and mathematics, it encourages children to unlock their potential.

With the Piccolo distanced at 40 km and the Medio ay 80 km – this is a Ride event that would help you wash off the excess of Christmas and New Year as well as ensure that those of you with the continued focus will stay fit and ready for the whole summer season of cycling ahead. The Tour of Jarrahdale is also our developmental ride event towards our signature event – the City of Armadale Grand Fondo and in 2015 – and makes for an excellent progression for May 2015.
Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation Inc was awarded the Commbank Community Grant to the value of $9999. What a fantastic start to the Keep the Flame Alive project for 2014. Presentation will be at the CLCRF head office on 12th Sept 2014
