Strengthening our Relationship with Beyond Bank
Foundation CEO Andrea Alexander recently attended a function at Optus Stadium to meet the Board Members of Beyond Bank. This was a great opportunity for the Foundation to strengthen our relationship with Beyond Bank and meet other community partners.
We would like to give a special thanks to Katie Tillson Voss and Georgina Nicholas for the invitation to the function, which also featured a guest talk by Dale Alcock.
These community partnerships are so important for CLCRF to continue the ground-breaking research into childhood cancers by helping us to raise much needed funds and awareness.
One of the most significant ways that Beyond Bank has helped us to raise funds is through their Community Reward Program, specifically their Community Reward Account. This is a unique way for supporters (both individuals and businesses) to contribute to CLCRF just by having a savings account with Beyond Bank.
The Community Reward Account allows supporters to save their money and in return CLCRF receive a Community Reward Payment, based on the combined average annual balances of all supporter’s savings. Basically, the more you save, the more Beyond Bank will donate – at no cost to you!
As part of the Community Reward Program, CLCRF can also benefit when supporters bring their home loan to Beyond Bank or when they accept a financial plan prepared by a Beyond Bank Financial planner.
This year, Beyond Bank will be donating $600,000 back to not-for-profit community organisations, such as CLCRF. It’s wonderful to see a bank giving so much back to the community.
