Child Cancer Research Foundation is governed by a Board responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s strategic direction, financial stewardship and governance.
Our Board brings together expertise across governance, business, finance, health and community leadership, alongside lived experience of childhood cancer. Together, Board members help ensure CCRF remains accountable, sustainable and focused on its purpose: improving life for children and young people affected by cancer.
CCRF operates under Charity Licence CC20305 as Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation Inc. (ABN 42 030 465 053), trading as Child Cancer Research Foundation.
Tracy Hollington
Chair
Tracy brings professional governance experience and a deeply personal understanding of childhood cancer to her role as Chair.
A lawyer by background, Tracy first became connected with CCRF through her family’s own experience of childhood cancer. Her son Angus was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of six, giving Tracy first-hand insight into the realities families can face during treatment and in the years that follow.
Tracy succeeded long-serving Chair Geoff Cattach AM in 2024, becoming only the third Chair in CCRF’s history. Her leadership reflects both the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to research and its growing focus on the lives young people build beyond cancer.
Justin Bruce
Treasurer
Justin brings extensive business and financial experience to the Board and serves as CCRF’s Treasurer.
As Managing Director of Statewide Bearings, Justin contributes commercial, financial and organisational expertise to the Foundation’s governance, helping oversee CCRF’s financial stewardship and long-term sustainability.
Belinda Ramshaw
Secretary
Belinda brings a powerful combination of professional governance expertise and lived experience of childhood cancer.
A childhood cancer survivor, Belinda holds an MBA and is WA State Manager for the Governance Institute of Australia. Her experience across governance, leadership and organisational strategy strengthens the Board’s oversight while her personal experience brings an important perspective to CCRF’s purpose.
Dr Barbara Sheil
Board Member
Barbara brings extensive experience in medicine and health to the CCRF Board, providing an important clinical perspective alongside the Board’s broader governance, business and community expertise.
Natalie Hiddlestone
Board Member
Natalie’s connection with CCRF spans more than 25 years, having first joined the Board in 2000.
A long-time business owner and community leader, Natalie brings significant organisational knowledge and practical experience to the Board. Her long association with CCRF also provides valuable continuity and an understanding of how the Foundation has grown and changed across generations.
Tony Carvajal
Board Member
Tony brings business experience and a strong commitment to community-led initiatives to the CCRF Board.
As a business owner with experience working alongside community organisations, Tony contributes practical commercial insight and a community-focused perspective to the Foundation’s governance and future direction.
Andrea Alexander
Board Member & Chief Executive Officer
Andrea brings 30 years of organisational knowledge to the Board, having joined CCRF in 1996 after working at Princess Margaret Hospital.
As Chief Executive Officer, Andrea is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operations of the Foundation and works closely with the Board to implement its strategic direction. Her three decades with CCRF also provide an important link between the Foundation’s history, its long-standing relationships and the organisation it is today.

Every donation, partnership and act of support comes with trust. Good governance helps ensure that trust is respected.
The CCRF Board provides oversight of the Foundation’s strategy, finances, risk and organisational governance, while day-to-day operations are led by the Chief Executive Officer and staff.
Board members give their time to CCRF without remuneration and bring a diverse range of professional and lived experience to their responsibilities.
CCRF is a registered Australian charity and is committed to responsible financial management, transparency and accountability to our donors, supporters and community.
